At Caring HARTS, we recognize that couples come from all walks of life and have various religious or non-religious beliefs. Because of this, you'll find us to be very flexible in having YOUR way on YOUR day. We hear from couples who often wonder if we require this or require that. In most cases, there are no requirements to have your ceremony so it can be performed in just the way you both want it.
Our exposure has been to many races and ethnicities. We welcome all as non-denominational ministers. Some have asked to jump over a caudron with flowers to represent fertility in marriage, others prefer a unity candle lighting or sand blending, those of Irish ancestory have requested the 400 year old tradition of handfasting and the Celtic vows used, some have desired putting coins into fountains for prosperity in the marriage and the list goes on. Rest assured that when you want to include a particular custom that comes from a family tradition, something you saw on television or perhaps witnessed at someone else's wedding that we would be happy to incorporate that tradition into the service for you. We want you, your family members and guests to feel that your wedding ceremony was truly unique and special.
A lot of our clients have been raised and may follow to a certain degree or another one of the various Christian religions. Others may wish certain Jewish or other faith rituals brought in to the service. So whether you want the "breaking of the glass", a wine toast or communion served to the audience, we will comply with your requests. Many of our couples blend multiple religions into a service and others prefer to stay spiritual (making reference to God) without the ceremony being long, drawn out and putting people to sleep in the chairs. Our ceremonies are lively, enjoyable and meaningful.
There are so many ways which we can customize your ceremony. Most often, when we get together for an appointment, that is the best opportunity to explore your thoughts and take a look through and discuss examples that we can share with you according to your suggestions and leanings. The culmination of our years of experience has allowed us the opportunity to gather a tremendous wealth of information on customs and rituals.
One important aspect of your wedding is who will be standing up, who may be invited and not standing up but that you would like somehow inlcuded AND the existence of children from one or both partners. You will find that we have terrific ideas and suggestions on how to include children (different ideas which are age appropriate) as well as for those people most dear to you which you would like to somehow participate in the service. So no matter if you want your children, relatives, other family members, ex-spouses, dearest friends or co-workers involved in the ceremony process, we have the ideas for you to think about and use so that these people feel loved by you.
