At Caring HARTS, we understand that when couples are engaged to be married, they want to explore various options for selecting the right officiant to perform the wedding ceremony. This is your day and we want to do our part to make your event ultra special. It is our hope that this section of the web site answers many of your questions about who we are and how we can make a positive difference in your lives. Nothing, of course, can replace a personal phone call or visit to us and as complete as this section may seem, please be aware that there is much more that we can talk about and show you to customize your wedding for making it unique to the both of you!
Let us begin by mentioning that we offer non-denominational ministry services. What this means to you is that we have a lot of flexibility in allowing you to bring into a ceremony many of your customs, traditions and rituals that are special and meaningful. We realize that you were raised in a certain faith, (as was your fiance'), have learned from others and now follow your own path. Some of what you have been made aware of, you embrace, while there may be other aspects of a particular doctrine that you find does not suit your life style or belief system. We can help you to include those elements you desire into your service (i.e. particular vows). Most couples find us to be extremely flexible in building ceremonies which encompass different civil or religious beliefs.
While many couples request a male officiant (minister) and this is performed by Rev. Robert Russell, we want you to know that for those who prefer a female minister, we also have Reverend Kathy who does delightful services, too. {especially for Civil services}
We want to be as much or as little a part of your day as you wish us to be. Simply put, this means that you can count on us to conduct anything from the most quaint elopement style service to a grand and lavish banquet with all the trimmings and lots of festivities and duties for us to perform. Our weddings can be from very efficient to very stylish or anywhere in between.
Couples vary according to the degree of religious or non-religious of a ceremony they prefer. We honor requests for a strictly civil ceremony without the mentioning of God if you desire this style. Some ask for a humanistic or spiritual wedding - others seek out a religious ceremony incorporating their ideas. To all of the above, we graciously work with you. Couples who come to us are frequently of different faiths, cultures, races and backgrounds - we embrace and rejoice at your diversity!
As you get to know us, you'll discover that we have a lot of experience in many types of weddings. Pictures and testimonial letters both on this site and at our office demonstrate this beyond any doubt. So whether you are looking for a wedding in a backyard, garden style, basement, living room, restaurant, golf course, banquet facility, club hall (ie American Legion Posts), hotels & resorts, parks (gazebos, among the great outdoors, at a music conservatory, historic homes, by the lake), Bed & Breakfast Inns, Theatrical Stage / Opera House, etc. you'll see that we have performed these kind of weddings with style, dignity and in ways meaningful for couples who come to us!
